- Established the clinic in May 1981
- Presently serves on the SD Reserve Veterinary Medical Officer Corps
- Board of directors for Horse Help Providers, Inc
- Steve and kit and family enjoy rodeo and horseback riding, especially in the Black Hills.

- 2001 graduate of Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine
- Bachelor of Science from South Dakota State University
- Preceptorship at Oregon State - Equine Surgery & Ambulatory Medicine
- Grew up on a small farm in Baltic, SD raising beef cows, horses, cats
and dogs. She spent the majority of her time on her horses back.
- Most proud of graduating from Veterinary School, with honors
- Persons who have inspired her are her mom and dad and
Dr. Reinertson (equine clinician at ISU)
- Enjoys outdoor activities, especially riding & showing her horse
"Deuce", golfing, fishing, and boating.
- Became a veterinarian because:
she loves working outdoors and with animals and always excelled in school
in
classes in the biological sciences.
